CE Marking for AI: Definition & EU AI Act Application (Art. 48) | governances.app
High-risk AI systems that have successfully completed conformity assessment must bear the CE marking under Article 48 before being placed on the EU market. The CE marking indicates the provider's declaration that the AI system complies with all applicable EU AI Act requirements. The marking must be affixed visibly, legibly, and indelibly on the system or its accompanying documentation.
